Twitch hit by DDoS Attack

The same group that already attacked Playstation Network, Xbox Live, Battle.net and League of Legends have now targeted Twitch. Shortly after midnight, Lizard Squard posted a tweet simply stating "RIP Twitch". Watching streams or streaming something yourself on the website was nearly impossible for a while. Yesterday it was announced, that Amazon are picking up Twitch for the handy sum of $970 million. But it's not clear, if this was the reason for DDoS Attack. Twitch is reportedly fully back to normal.
