Resident Evil actor Milla Jovovich has confirmed that work on the latest - and last - chapter in the franchise's cinematic series will be delayed due to her and her husband, and series director, Paul WS Anderson, discovering they're expecting a baby.
Empire caught the story, as Jovovich stated via her official Facebook page that "after a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyone's best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle a Resident Evil movie".
The movie was due for a 2016 release date, so expect either a very late release that year, or a postponement to the following year.
