We talk to Respawn Entertainment's community manager Abbie Heppe about the upcoming final DLC drop for Titanfall IMC Rising as well as the greater journey with the game.

"Since we launched the game we've done so many updates and obviously DLC being work on at the studio, so I wouldn't say that we've really had a break. But at the same time at a certain point we will wind down on Titanfall and move on to whatever's next."

Speaking of the new maps in IMC Rising, Heppe had this to say:

"We've been playing them a lot at the office and I love the way the design team think about movement in the game and how to do cool stuff in maps to support that. And I think people will really have fun with these."

In our interview Heppe also recalls the feeling when the game was officially unveiled at E3 and how it was something the entire team were able to take part in.

And question about how Respawn feel about other developers looking at their game and perhaps borrowing a concept or two was answered as follows:

"I think it would be silly if companies didn't look at what other companies are doing and try to learn and see what their competitors or other games they are excited about are doing. I mean it seems like a natural thing for people who work in games and love games and want to play games. I think that's something that everybody does."

Heppe would not be persuaded into dropping any hints about what's next, but she did say "we want to keep making games, unfortunately they don't let me pre-announce things"... We'd be willing to bet a healthy sum on Titanfall 2 being Respawn's next project, but nothing is official at this point.
