Guild Wars 2 beta event
Pre-purchasers get early access.

NCsoft and ArenaNet, the developers of MMO Guild Wars 2, have announced the first public Beta Weekend Event. Taking place between April 27 - 29, fans who have pre-purchased the title will get their first chance to explore the game.
The only certain way to get access to the Beta Weekend Event is to pre-purchase either the Collector's, Digital Deluxe, or Standard/Digital Editions. Those who invest early will also get three-day Headstart Access prior to launch, and the Hero's Band item.
