During Activision's financial conference call for the second fiscal quarter in 2014, Activision Publishing CEO, Eric Hirshberg, (via DualShockers) has stated that Destiny wouldn't be undergoing many changes between the conclusion of its beta and launch this September.

Last month's beta stress-tested the game's servers, as well as allowed players to try out some of the core gameplay mechanics the game will offer. Seems all went well.

"I would describe these as tweaks and not major changes," he explained. "As we saw the fundamentals of the game to be very strong. And the good news is because we got 4.6 million players into the beta we were able to test the back-end in scale and it performed really well and stable."
