Zhiltsov went into his background as a mere player of the first IL-2 Sturmovik as he emphasised the importance of catering to the hardcre audience.

He went over the core pillars of the development - challenge, emotions and flexibility. While it is still very much a hardcore experience, the team have made sure players with less time on their hands are able to enjoy the game fully ("We understand that people right now maybe don't have so much time") and missions will therefore be able so you know what you're getting into whether it's a 30 minute experience or an hour.

Zhiltsov 125,000 square kilometers of map to fly across and a carefully recreated map of Stalingrad is something Zhiltsov feels the hardcore will appreciate.

"We are recreating the Stalingrad city itself building by building using German photos. You know, Germans doing everything in the way of "ordnung" (order). This is why they first took pictures and after this just destroying the cities. I cannot say thank you, but we have these photos and this is how we can recreate Stalingrad just building by building."

Zhiltsov did finish speaking a little on the work they are doing with the Oculus Rift.
