The former military dictator of Panama, Manuel Noriega, is angry with Activision and suing them over the use of his likeness in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Now Noriega says the likeness is a "blatant misuse, unlawful exploitation and misappropriation" that has been created for "for economic gain". It's the chapter named Suffer With Me where the player is supposed to capture Noriega, and the lawsuit claims:

"Defendants' use of plaintiff's image and likeness caused damage to plaintiff. Plaintiff was portrayed as an antagonist and portrayed as the culprit of numerous fictional heinous crimes, creating the false impression that defendants are authorized to use plaintiff's image and likeness."

So therefore Noriega now wants the compensation he thinks he deserves because of "unjust enrichment, unfair business practices, and violation of common-law publicity rights".

We'll most likely get back to whether this poor 'ol dictator's good name has been abused or not according to the law.

REVIEW. Written by Mathias Holmberg

"It's made up of some of the most boring missions in the history of the franchise...at times this feels like a pastiche - a parody."
