Deus Ex 3 - New details confirmed

Last year when Eidos announced that they would be the ones to develop the third chapter in the Deus Ex series, they weren't exactly proud. The reason for this was that the creator of the series, Warren Spector, didn't have anything to do with this third chapter.

The first details related to the game have now been revealed and the following has been confirmed.

The game will take advantage of a cover-system like the one in Gears of War.

You energy level will automatically regenerate when you are safe from fire.

The super powers no longer come from built in nanotechnology, but is a mechanism which can be seen on the body.

Hacking still plays a major role.

Dialogue is a big part of the game.

In some situations the camera will change from first to third person.

The different tasks can be solved in many different ways and the world will be open as we are used to.
