Sam Hulick, the Mass Effect 3 composer who's been with the series since the start, has been talking to Gamereactor UK about what was likely the hardest part of the gig - scoring the ending of the final game.

"It's tough," he explains. "It took a lot of collaboration between myself, Rob Blake and Casey Hudson, to nail down the right feel for the ending. I had to slip the main theme in there too; I couldn't see ending the trilogy and not coming full circle without some variation of the main theme.

"I like the way it turned out in the end."

Our interview also talks to Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan, as the trio of composers discuss recurring musical themes, their favourite moments from the series, and how they'd be up for a live concert spanning all three games in chronological order.
