EA's Patrick Söderlund has confirmed that Dead Space could end up making a comeback, if the team at Visceral can come up with the right idea.

"To the largest extent we can, we want to get the game teams to work on the things they want to work on themselves," he told Polygon. "There's an incredible amount of enthusiasm over Hardline and the Star Wars game at Visceral. Do I think that we will create a Dead Space game again? Yes, I think so. But when we do so, we have to think about what made the previous ones successful and how we go about envisioning Dead Space for a new generation.

"Now, I'm not announcing a Dead Space game. We're not building one just to be very clear, but I'm saying is there an opportunity or possibility to do one in the future? Absolutely."

After Dead Space 3 the series felt a little tired, and surely the team would need to capture the chilling spirit of the first game if the series were to make a comeback. Would you be interested in seeing a Dead Space 4?

REVIEW. Written by Rasmus Lund-Hansen

"Lacking the pacing to make for a successful horror, and with combat mechanics not built for straight action, the game doesn't impress in either."
