Gears of War 3 for next generation

Epic Games' Michael Capps has stated, during a round of Q&A at Tokyo Game Show, that it will still be a while before Gears of War 3 will be released - it won't be happening this console generation, actually.

""We're very concerned that the next generation will be massively parallel and most engines won't be able to adapt for that", Michael Capps said. "If there were a next Gears of War, that will be for the next console generation, whenever that is. If someone knows, please tell me! That's about four or five years away, I think.""

"If there were a next Gears of War", he says, like there ever was a doubt that there will be one. Anyway, Epic have been working on their Unreal 4-engine for the last 7 years, getting ready for the next gen consoles. Sorry, current next gen machines. Next current gen. Eh. You know what I mean.
