The Last of Us is getting the movie treatment, and more details have been confirmed today at Comic-Con. Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann was with producer Sam Raimi to discuss the movie, the teaser poster for which you can see below.

Although it's not officially confirmed as yet, it's likely that Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams will be playing the role of Ellie. Naughty Dog agreed to the movie after being given final say on the director that's attached to the film, and on the eventual casting.

"There's never been a really great movie made from a video game," Druckmann said at the event. "There have been ones that we've enjoyed but we thought, 'What if we could make the first great one?' We're gonna work our asses off [to make that happen]."

There was talk of there being a different/alternate ending for the film, but Raimi confirmed that this wouldn't be the case. He joked with Druckmann on stage, saying: "It looks like I'm going to have to protect it from you."

The Last of Us: Remastered is heading to PlayStation 4 on July 30.
