The Force Unleashed is the fastest selling Star Wars game of all time, shifting an impressive 1.5 million units in five days across all platforms. Lucasarts sent out a massive 4.3 million units, but still experienced some shortages in specific areas and on specific platforms.
"The record-setting sales of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed shows the undiminished power of Star Wars and its popularity across all media types, including video games," said Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts. "We're blown away by the response to the game."
Remains to be seen if The Force Unleashed can maintain sales and beat out Star Wars Battlefront II as the best selling Star Wars game of all time.
