Despite the fact that the concept artists working in the games industry produce some mouth-wateringly beautiful sketches and artworks, art books are still few and far between.
So its gratifying to see Bioware celebrate the fact as it teams up with Dark Horse to publish the weighty-sounding "The Art of the Mass Effect Universe" a 184 page tomb that could likely kill small pets if dropped on them.
Comic book site Newsarama has a sneak peek at its interior, and while only character development sketches, commentary from the creators as to their changes and appearances make it a good insight into the work behind the series, as the book covers all three titles.
The Hard Cover is due out February 21st, RRP £29.99 (but you can get it for under twenty quid if you book now).
