Bioshock 2 delayed
Big Sister not coming until 2010
Take Two have announced that the sequel to the critically acclaimed Bioshock won't hit store shelves until next year. It has been given a tentative "first half of 2010" date by CEO Ben Feder. The reason is that the title needs more development time to reach the quality fans expect. The game was previously planned to be released in November, and Feder added that the new release date will hopefully be beneficial as far as sales go (away from the overcrowded holiday period). With this move Take Two have moved four highly anticipated sequels (Mafia II, Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption being the others) away from 2009 and into 2010.
