Xbox 360's Witcher 2 dated

It feels like we've been asking CD Projekt for some years now about its Xbox 360 version of critically acclaimed The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

But finally, after rumour, speculation, confirmation and tease that the console version will carry some exclusive content, we finally have a concrete date: April 17th.

That was the date given at a press conference yesterday by the company, who also say this version will have all new cinematics as well.

"The Xbox 360 version is a complete adaptation of the game to the new platform, we've rewritten the code so it feels native to the console. This latest version of The Witcher 2 has been expanded in many ways, and some experts believe it to be one of the best-looking games ever to make it to consoles," said Adam Badowski, head of CD Projekt RED studio.

For all those PC users worried on missing out, some great news: "PC users who already own the game will be happy to learn that they will be able to download all the added content free of charge," states Badowski.
