We don't have long to wait before Namco Bandai releases the highly anticipated Soul Calibur V. The game is to be released on February 3, which by my calendar makes it next Friday.

The game is set 16 years after the events of Soul Calibur IV, and follows the adventures of Potroklos as he struggles against the forces of evil.

This latest instalment will also feature, amongst regular Soul Calibur favourites Ivy, Nightmare, Maxi and Voldo, one Ezio Auditore da Firenze of Assassin's Creed fame.

And now, as promised, here's some screens.

      REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"Their relationship is a microcosm of the games overall theme; the battle between good and evil, between Soul Calibur and Soul Edge."
