Resident Evil 6 co-op announced
Six players can team up online.
A listing on Xbox.com has sparked speculation that Capcom's recently announced survival horror title Resident Evil 6 will support six player online co-op.
As well as the six player co-op, the listing (first spotted by Kotaku) details two player co-op offline and as well as up to eight players in multiplayer. These kind of online options are a departure for the series, with Resident Evil 5 only supporting two player co-op.
This news follows the announcement of the game last week. A trailer accompanied Capcom's big reveal (which also included a viral ad campaign), and you can read our trailer breakdown to get an idea of what the sixth chapter of the enduringly popular Resident Evil series has in store for us all.
