New DLC for Killzone: Shadow Fall has just been announced by Sony, and it'll bring 4-player co-op to the PS4 shooter.
The new content will put four players together into a VSA tea called Intelligence Squad Alpha, where they'll be operating behind enemy lines sending Helghast transmissions back to base. It sounds remarkably like a wave-based mode, with players having to "keep Helghast interlopers at bay long enough to establish a Hacking Uplink and transmit the data".
There'll be combat roles for teammates to specialise in (Assault, Marksman, Medic and Tactician), with players also able to earn airstrikes and jetpacks to play around with. The AI-controlled Helghast will have their own objectives, and will switch tactics as they try to knock human players off of their objectives.
The mode will include four arena maps inspired by locations from the single-player game, and it's set to launch in June. No word on pricing, but the content is part of the season pass for those who've already stumped up the readies.
