If you've been building away in Minecraft on either of the old-gen consoles, you'll be delighted to hear that you'll be able to take your creations with you when you upgrade to a new-gen machine.
It was confirmed on the PS Blog that things made in the PS3 version would be accessible in the PS4 version (and maybe even on PS Vita too). It's also going to be released via a retail edition, joining the digital edition that currently has sold a reported 1.5 million copies.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the console divide, Microsoft's Phil Spencer confirmed on Twitter that save transfers between Xbox 360 and Xbox One will also be possible.
