Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella has confirmed that Titanfall will get both paid and free DLC following its release this month.

In an interview with Gamespot, Zampella confirmed the following: ""We plan to do DLC to support the game. We're going to do paid DLC. We're also going to do free updates."

The former Infinity Ward man then went further: "We're going to add in - there's things that we want in the game that we didn't get to ship in the final game, so we'll add private matches and things like that for free. We're going to do a season pass just because if you buy it up front, you get a deal. We're not doing micro-transactions. So, you know, a season pass is just, buy it up front and get a better price."

Zampella also commented on the Bluepoint Games Xbox 360 version of the game, saying: "The goal is to get it as close as possible. Obviously it won't be exact. It's on a less powerful system." And when asked whether post-launch support for the different versions of Titanfall would be the same, he said: "we'll have to sit down with EA and talk about that, but my assumption is yes."

The quotes, which came via MP1ST, land hot on the heels of the official gameplay launch trailer (which we've attached below) and last month's beta (which you can read about here).
