First up, Titanfall has gone gold. Respawn confirmed the news with a picture of game director Steve Fukuda holding on the first Xbox One discs by way of proof.
In other news, the debate surrounding Titanfall's native resolution continues to rumble on. The latest development was Vince Zampella confirming on Twitter that recent reports regarding a potential 1080p resolution for the game are false.
There have been conflicting numbers doing the rounds in recent days, with some suggesting a resolution drop to 720p, while others pointed towards 1080p. Both have now been denied by Respawn.
According to the Titanfallblog, the beta actually ran at native 792p resolution, and they claim Respawn community manager Abbie Hepp told them that the game's final resolution would be about 900p. There's only a few weeks before we find out, Titanfall is set to land on Xbox One and PC March 13 (with the Xbox 360 version to follow thereafter).
