Wargaming has released the first of several dev diaries that shed some light on the improvements coming to the PC version of World of Tanks in 2014.

"It will be a truly transformative year for the game," said producer Mike Zhivets. "Enhancements planned for 2014 touch upon the very core of World of Tanks, and each of them will overhaul the look and feel of the title, inducing the tank combat experience we deliver with a whole new level of realism and immersion."

The first diary details the changes that the studio plan on making in the year ahead, including new weather conditions that affect line of sight, and destructible structures that break down into individual bricks. Watch the trailer for more details.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"On the outside it might just look like big, metallic monsters brutishly blasting away at each other, but there's actually a refreshing amount of tactical depth here."
