A new 6 versus 6 game mode is coming to League of Legends, it has been announced by Riot Games.

Typically League of Legends (and many other Dota games) feature classic 5v5 gameplay, with teams battling other heroes and ‘last-hitting' AI-controlled enemies as they aim to take down a target in the opposing base. Riot are proposing the "same rules, same map," but with "more champions" in the new mode.

Pentakill is where a player in LoL takes down the entire enemy team in one fell swoop, and so naturally Hexakill follows the same basic principle, but with one extra digital corpse at the end of the spree.

Just last month it was revealed that 27 million players log on to League of Legends servers on a daily basis, making it one of the most popular games on the planet.
