New Destiny vehicle detailed by Bungie

Bungie has unveiled a new vehicle that should be set to make an appearance in the upcoming shooter Destiny, the Shrike.

"We wanted to give Guardians the experience of having a glorious beast to convey them from place to place - something that represented them," Bungie's 3D Artist Tom Doyle said in a post.

"The ability to summon a vehicle on demand turns you and your friends into a futuristic biker gang. Getting from point A to point B should be fun... not a menu option."

"The Shrike is something that you'll upgrade over time in Destiny," Doyle continued. "Right off the bat, the Shrike has three distinct paint schemes that correspond to your particular Class. Each paint scheme has its own distinct color palette to reflect progression," concluded the Bungie artist, confirming what we already knew about player progression being visible through the items worn in-game.

The Shrike has been confirmed as just one of the vehicles that'll be appearing in Destiny, although Bungie did add a work-in-progress disclaimer, reminding us that designs and detail may be subject to change.
