Titanfall beta details incoming

Zampella: "it is not an open beta by any standards".

We're expecting more news regarding the incoming beta for the anticipated Titanfall in the next few hours.

In the wee small hours of this morning, Respawn's Vince Zampella took to Twitter to tease fans with regards to an incoming reveal.

Through various Twitter interactions, Zampella confirmed that the beta will not be open to everyone with a pre-order, saying "we tried but just couldn't do it".

Later he added "it is not an open beta by any standards," indicating that although there will be plenty of people who get access to Titanfall's beta, there'll be plenty who don't and will have to wait for the game's March release.

He also confirmed that the beta will not be US only (although that was never in doubt, it's good to know nevertheless). "If it were up to me I would let most of you in (always a few bad apples). Sadly, we have restrictions that we couldn't avoid," he added.

We'll keep an eye out, and as soon as we have more news we'll let you know.
