South Park won't require Uplay on PC

Obsidian confirms incoming RPG will be on Steam.

Despite being published by Ubisoft, South Park: The Stick of Truth will not be linked to the Uplay PC platform.

Obsidian confirmed the news via Twitter, where the studio revealed the game that they're creating with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be purchased and played through Steam.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is set to launch on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on March 5/6 (depending where you live). Head here for our last preview.
