Minimum PC requirements for Titanfall revealed

Zampella confirms that beta must be played through Origin.

Last night Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella confirmed a couple of things about the upcoming beta for the anticipated sci-fi shooter, Titanfall.

First up he confirmed the game's minimum system requirements, which are as follows:

Min: 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1
AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
4GB RAM
512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT

After that Zampella also revealed that the beta will have to run through EA's Origin service. While that's not entirely unexpected, there'll be plenty of PC gamers disappointed that it's not appearing on Steam and/or an independent game launcher. Will the Origin requirement put some gamers off getting Titanfall on PC?
