Next Car Game scores $1,000,000 in a week

Bugbear happy with Early Access success.

Finnish developers Bugbear Entertainment launched an Early Access version of their spiritual successor to FlatOut - Next Car Game - on Steam and their own pre-order site mid-January. Sales in one week topped $1,000,000.

Vindication for the studio who were routinely turned down when looking for a publisher to help fund the project. Bugbear also failed an attempt on Kickstarter.

We've been sampling what's currently on offer in the game and in the two videos below you can gaze at Next Car Game in 1080 and 60 frames per second.
