27 million play League of Legends daily

The Wall Street Journal reports some extremely impressive numbers from Riot Games' League of Legends. As you may remember that game took in a whopping $624 million in 2013 (according to estimates by Super Data Research), and apparently it currenly has around 27 million daily players. In fact the top concurrent number is 7.5 million. When compared to the last numbers released officially (12 million daily players, Oct -12 and 5 million concurrent players, Mar -13) it is clear that not only has League of Legends not suffered from the release of Dota 2, it has continued to grow and thrive. Has the ceiling been reach or is the sky the limit for League of Legends?
