Mojang announced late last week that Minecraft has sold a million copies on PS3 over PSN. In their own words "that has to be some kind of record on PSN, no?" - surely it is. Mojang's Daniel Kaplan also recently confirmed Minecraft as a whole (including PC, mobile (Pocket Edition), Xbox 360) has sold in excess of 40 million copies.

It definitely seems on track to release next April.
The filming is currently taking place in New Zealand.
He's been doing lots of research to ensure he accurately portrays Steve in the movie.
Black has been nominated for multiple awards for Peaches in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
It looks like Arrakis is getting the blocky treatment.
