Play SimCity offline soon

Maxis has announced that gamers will finally be able to play SimCity offline when the feature is added in an upcoming update. In a recent blogpost, Maxis general manager Patrick Buechner explained that the offline mode will be coming as part of the free Update 10.

A new single player mode will come as part of the next update, and more details on the new features are expected to be detailed in the coming weeks. The offline mode is currently being tested, and its announcement comes at the same time as Maxis revealed their mod policy.
