Sony had some big news for CES this year as they unveiled the Gaikai powered PlayStation Now - a streaming service that will offer PlayStation games (old and new) on PS3, PS4, PS Vita as well as other devices (TVs, tablets, smartphones). Big news.

Essentially it's an expanded version of the Gaikai service Sony revealed at the PlayStation 4 unveiling - and The Last of Us is available for sampling through streaming at CES. The idea is for the service to launch in the US at the end of the month in closed beta, while it will roll out to additional devices this summer.

Obviously Sony are looking to spread their net as wide as possible when it comes to broadening the PlayStation brand. A wise move as the catalogue of PS1, PS2 and PS3 titles deserves as wide an audience as possible.
