Earlier in the month we told you about Caesar in Gaul, a new campaign for Total War: Rome II that features an extended version of Gaul and the south cost of Britannia and new playable factions. The content was originally planned to be released today, but a slight delay for the DLC means its release has been pushed back to December 17.
Also mentioned in the latest update from Sega and CA are some details surrounding a historical battle that's to be included alongside the campaign. The standalone battle of Alesia will put players in the position of Caesar during the final and decisive battle against the Gauls that preceded victory in the area and then the end of the Roman Republic.
