We've just barely gotten started with Star Wars: The Old Republic, but it still stands out as the best online experience of the year. Bioware are masterful storytellers, and it is amazing to witness just how well story has been implemented into The Old Republic, and what's even more surprising is how great the co-operative story missions - the flashpoints - play out. While it is too early to say whether The Old Republic is built to last or not, what we can say is that it stands out and is likely to forever change our expectations on storytelling in massively multiplayer online games.
