Wait half a decade for one Nintendo classic and three come along at once. Yet Skyward Sword outclassed both Mario titles through a refined control scheme that made motion controls exciting again, and a tale that confidentally alters all but the core concepts of the series to provide an adventure that shows Nintendo willing to stretch its wings a little.
