Redaktör | My favorite FF is actually Final Fantasy IX... Ashamed to say I haven't played them all, but the one game I didn't like much at all was Final Fantasy X. I recently enjoyed Crisis Core. Bengt Lemne / Gamereactor |

![]() ![]() | I never "loved" FF, but i enjoyed FF 7 or at least what i have played of it, not completely finished yet. The cake is a lie! |

Moderator | I'm kind of a conservatist when it comes to Final Fantasy, although I'm just a tod ashamed that I haven't finished XII for my PS2 yet. But to be honest, I can't count the hours I've spent with my Final Fantasy VII Platinum (yeah, I didn't buy it at release, I was like 7 years old by then, and honestly, my English wasn't as astonishing as now It all felt like a cozy Fairytale with all the characters being just as they should be. Of course, the game evolved into a very exciting story, as always, but the "Fairytale"-feeling still was there all through the game. To make it short. Final Fantasy VII and IX are my favourites, and how about you? I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. |

Himmelsblå![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't have a favourite, I like the most of them. |
| |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I liked FF X. Haven't tried FF VII yet, actually FF X is the only FF game that managed to keep my attention for more than 30 min. Still not completed though |
| |
Dori![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My favorite FF-game is FFXII and it has one of the deepest storys I've experienced.. Other FF that's quite nice is FFX. ''The music comes straight from the heart, and speaks only to the heart'' - Rachmaninov |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I must be grazy, I like Final fantasy VIII the most. Mainly because if your good at it you can really get some insane stats in the begining. Also the challenging final boss and extra bosses where really something. Not to mention the uniq theme mixes of School, missions, cardgames, epic story etc. Main character could have used a bit of fixing but it was only small con. >_> |

RDB![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I hate it when the thread-writer doesn't try to do anything whatsoever with the thread. Can't you atleast try to create some discussion, or whatever? Oh, well. Am I the only one looking more forward to Versus than XIII? Ikke spytt på innleggene mine. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Is FFVI still worth playing? Or FFVIII? I have played VII, IX, X and XII. So wonder if the old one is still fun. 1337 er ut, 1227 er inn! http://1227.com/ |

RDB![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Quote Neivler: Is FFVI still worth playing? Or FFVIII? I have played VII, IX, X and XII. So wonder if the old one is still fun. VI has, in my opinion, the best story of all the games. And the gameplay is very similiar to VII. However, it obviously lacks the cinematic presentation seen in all the later games. I suspect that Square Enix may release a remake (probably for a portable system) very soon, so that might be worth waiting for. But if not, I still strongly recommend VI. Ikke spytt på innleggene mine. |

Redaktör | We've just gotten FFIV on DS, so I guess they'll do FFV first (FFVI was released on GBA just over a year ago in Europe afterall). I would like to see a full re-make on PS4 or X720 though... that would be nice. Bengt Lemne / Gamereactor |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've never played the FF games... After all, RPG is not my cup of coffee.... It prints money, biiatch! |
| |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My favourite game in this serie is Final Fantasy VII, for me its perfect. |
| |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Any one waiting for Dissidia? it looks pretty good and the fighting seems to be like one big pallet of combos and super moves. Gotta see how it will do in reviews tough. >_> |

| Psykocyber Moderator | I have never played a JRPG, can someone explain me what distinguishes FF from all the others? If it aint broke, fix it! |
| |
Redaktör | I think the main thing with Final Fantasy in my opinion is the constant change. A new world, new combat system, new characters - yet somehow it is often very familiar. Bengt Lemne / Gamereactor |
| |
| Psykocyber Moderator | But if some things are familiar, there must be constanst in the game that traverses all the games. What is it really that sets it apat, the story, characters, gameplay, to laugh at it(^^)? If it aint broke, fix it! |
| |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The stories in the FF games are definitly some of the best in the world, they have a very deep plot and characters... The gameplay is just like any other JRPG, though, while beeing turnbased, it's not the same in all the games... Rain is falling like rhinestones from the sky |

I tried the one known as FF4 in the US FF7, FF8, FF9, FF10, FF11, FF12. I sort of liked FF4 I really enjoyed FF7 and just could not get into the rest. I played FF11 online for over a year and regretted it. Sorry if I just hurt a fanboi's feelings. | |
