Most hotly anticipated
Posts in thread: 11Everybody loves some hot anticipation! With 2013 only just kicking off I thought I'd put the question to Gamereactor.eu members. So? What's your most hotly anticipated game of 2013? I've got a few but won't share them just yet...

I don't have any particular anticipated games for 2013. This year is just going to be one long waiting game for 2014 - I can't wait to get my hands on Star Citizen (thankfully, I get to play it in both Alpha and Beta) and Elite: Dangerous. Space Sims are making a huge comeback, baby!!

Moderator | Maybe the upcoming Bioshock game, it looks really good and I have throughoutly enjoyed the last Bioshock games so I am hoping this one will as well fulfill my expectations. Liked the first one more tough, since the combat was less straight forward and sneaking made more sense. >_> |

GR® | I'm still really looking forward to Rome II. That and GTA V. There's more, but they're the two that stick out. |

Loving this. Lots of games to add to my list. Bioshock: Infinite looks really impressive. If they pull of 'in action' cinematics like the trailers have suggested I think it could be really special. I haven't heard much about Star Citizen or Elite: Dangerous, but will definitely be looking out for any info on them. Are they along the lines of Faster Than Light? I haven't played FTL myself but a friend of mine really raved about it and the Gamereactor review suggested it was anything but shabby... Here's hoping Rockstar continue their trend of bar-setting sandbox adventures. My only concern is the current gen capabilities and whether or not they can really push those systems to create something really special. For me, I have to say Cyberpunk 2077. CDProjekt are being a bit coy on the release date but the last cinematic had me foaming at the mouth. I'm a big fan of Witcher 2 and think CDProjeckt could really cement themselves as the daddy of RPG if they pull off a futuristic Sci-Fi rpg as well as their fantasy stuff. (Anyone else feeling echoes of Bioware at its best?) I'm also looking forward to the new Tomb Raider. Narrative driven Action/Adventure is right up my street and I think Square Enix are a smart enough publisher to realise that if they pull off the re-birth of the franchise in a big way they could be onto a potential gold mine for years to come. The games had plenty of development time and the people working on it seem smart and passionate, so here's hoping...

Guess we don't have many PS3 owners here. They've got a couple of great looking titles coming out. I'm tempted to buy the console just to play Twin Souls and The Last of Us.

DayZ standalone all the way.

| Strategist Community Manager | I'm anticipating Total War: Rome II the most, but Arma 3 has my attention as well. ••• Abusus non tollit usum! ••• Moderatorsjef @ Gamereactor® |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | At the moment I'm looking forward to Fire Emblem Awakening on the 3DS. Looks like a brilliant SRPG with a lot of depth and replay-value. Slightly annoying that we in Europe have to wait 3 months for it though... "It's ok to not like things, but don't be a dick about it" - TotalBiscuit |
