It is no secret, that I am a big fan of mobile and handheld gaming. It is also no secret, that I wish a lot of freemium games weren't freemium. I hate timers, and when I play, I want to be in charge of where and when. That is one of the reasons I mention Beach Buggy Racing.

It is a Mario Kart clone made by the brilliant developer Vector Unit. If you are a mobile gamer you probably know them for their Rip Tide series. Anyways... Beach Buggy Racing. It is a great little racing game, but it is also a freemium game with the usual limits on your play time. But for once you have the option to unlock an unlimited version by paying. I think that is a great way to do it. If you want a free game, live with the timers. If you hate freemium vote with your wallet.

If you have an Android or iOS unit, I recommend downloading the game and taking it for a spin. Tons of options, great controls, lots to do in the game, and daily challenges. And it looks absolutely gorgeous.
