The new galaxy in Mass Effect: Andromeda is there to be explored, and after a long day battling bad guys and being a hero, you might want to find some solace in the arms of a loved one. In Mass Effect: Andromeda love is plentiful and all corners of the galaxy bubble with hot emotion, and we have the answers when it comes to who you're most compatible with and who you should swipe left on.

To make this guide as easy as possible to read, the various romances are categorised by the type of relationship they offer. Whatever you're looking for, the answers are here, but note that there may be character-specific spoilers, so if you prefer to avoid this kind of thing you should probably stop reading now... Still with us? Good, then let's begin.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

Suvi Anwar
The fair lady with the lovely Scottish accent is easy to fall in love with, and while you court her affections she likes to talk about everything from her belief in a higher power to licking space rocks. Only the female Ryder that can romance Suvi all the way, but a note of caution - she loves to talk... a lot. Flirt with her when the opportunity arises, and pretty soon you'll be a couple. You'll find her at the Tempest bridge, to the left of galaxy map.

Liam Kosta
When you wake up after 634 years of sleep and open your eyes, they're almost immediately drawn to the hunky Liam Kosta. You'll find him later on the lower deck of the Tempest, where he likes to hang out and talk about cars and movies. Although Scott Ryder can try to explain his feelings for Liam, he only has eyes for the ladies. If you're looking for a relationship, then, the female Ryder is the way to go. Flirt when you have the chance, and by performing a specific task, you can see a scene where Liam and Jaal think it's a good idea to try on each other's clothes, which of course leads to a funny scene aboard the Tempest.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

Jaal
Jaal is probably the most sensitive creature in the Andromeda galaxy, and the alien with tentacle-like hair around his reptilian face isn't afraid to show it. Jaal is a very complex individual who likes to talk about deep subject matters, and if you're just looking for a quickie, then maybe he isn't the way to go. If, however, you would rather experience an emotional journey without precedent, he's absolutely perfect. Angaran Jaal is only available for Sara Ryder, but that doesn't stop Scott from trying his luck.

Cora Harper
One of the first faces you get acquainted with during the game is your old man's protege, Cora. With a razor sharp haircut and an attitude very much out of the ordinary, it's of course easy to fall for Cora, however, she's a girl who needs to be assured that she actually adds something to the gang, and she has a pretty shaky background for you to take into account if you choose her as a partner. Cora likes men, and only men, therefore Mr Ryder is the ideal partner.
